Learning & Teaching

The programme lasts one year if studied full-time (two years if taken on a part-time basis) and consists of three semesters of approximately fifteen weeks each. Study is on a taught basis for the first two semesters. Once students have satisfactorily completed this element they will progress to the dissertation stage for the final semester. Satisfactory completion of the dissertation will result in the award of a Masters degree.
A variety of delivery modes are used to ensure that the learning process is both stimulating and practical. The Core Units are delivered by a combination of mass lectures and seminar group work, while the options are taught in small groups. Assessment in all units is primarily on a continuing basis.
